I found a set of stairs this summer in London, ON with a stunning Japanese Maple overhanging them. I decided they would make a beautiful perspective study. This is the watercolor painting focused very much on the steps. I am working on an acrylic on canvas version as well. Eventually I'd like to do a matching set focused more on the tree.
